How to organize my cd collection

How I did it: They are alphabetized by last name and I actually did a spread sheet by genre so I can remember who is who. Just about all have been loaded into my iPod and I have dozens of playlists. I wish I'd done this years ago!! Whenever someone's doing a PPoint pres for a birthday or anniversary, or if someone is looking for a song, I can actually help now!
Lessons & tips: If you have hundreds of cd's like I did, it's a daunting task. These things were EVERYWHERE. I just took it slow. Did a little everyday. The spreadsheet was a lot of work, but very worth it.
