How I did it: Okay so I had a macbook and it was old. It was intel based but not a core 2 duo. Just a core duo. And I had had it for about 2 years and 4 months. One day I crashed my bike and broke it. I had apple care but apple wanted $750 to fix it. So i just said fuck it not paying to fix and old piece of poo and got a credit card and bought a new imac. 24 inch 3.06 C2D. 8800GTs. 2GB of ram. 500GB hard drive ect...
it was going to be $2300ish but I got it for $1993.95
It was worth it. Apple gave me a credit card to. No payments for 3 months and a year of free intrust.
