How to visit Niagara Falls

How I did it: I took a day trip from NYC... a bit pricy at $490/£275 but well worth it... we went to the American Falls first and then Niagara (or Horseshoe) Fall second, stopping off at a couple of places on the way. After seeing the Canadian side we visited a couple of other places, such as the original site of the Falls, showing just how far it had eroded. Was fantastic!
Lessons & tips: Probably best that you go in the spring/summer when the weather will be nicer, as it was a little too cold to be stood outside all day, however, there were no crowds, so you didn't feel rushed in to taking your pictures or moving on!
