How to get my wisdom teeth out
How I did it: I was so scared because I had never had any surgical procedure done before in my mouth. After having braces they told me I needed to get them removed or else they would push all my teeth around and I would need braces again.
The actual procedure wasn't bad...they gave me an IV and I was out within 10 seconds. Woke up in the recovery room and didn't feel a thing until I got home. After the numbness wore off it felt pretty painful. I had my dad drive me home and my sister went to get the pain-killers and antibiotics. That way I wouldn't have to wait as long..... because you will need them ASAP!!
The good thing is you won't ever have to worry about those little suckers again!!!!
Lessons & tips: Make sure to take the medicine the dentist will give you..so you won't get an infection.
Take two people with you. One to drive you and one to get the prescription.
Rest a lot and don't plan too much for the next 4-5 days.
