How I did it: Nothing much really. I went to college. I studied a bit and got myself a job. And when I got my first paycheck and when I stopped taking money from my parents every month and could finally afford expensive things, it was just one of the best feelings I had ever experienced and even today after 1.5 yrs of working I haven't experienced anything better than knowing that I can fare for myself. I have no bit of advice to say how to do it, for me- I think I just got lucky. I can just hope, that so do you. 

Lessons & tips: Be patient and focussed. Your time will come. And one day everything will be alright. Well, almost.
