How to replace all of our toilets with water saver ones and take advantage of rebate from city
How I did it: Got one toilet initially to replace an old one in my home that had gotten cracked. Found out when purchaising the unit that it qualified for a rbate of about 80% of the cost. SO I replaced all of my toilets shortly after that! Rebate is what pushed me to do it really. The new units are water savers and will hopefully will save us money as time goes on.
It was a full win situation for us. Also was able to recycle one of the toilets for someone who needed one! Gave it away on craigslist. That was nice too! (the other two old toilets ended there service life in the trash can in a millions pieces. :)
Lessons & tips: DO it!
Resources: Look at yoru city or county water websight. Lots of information on rebates if there are any for you from washer and dryer sets to toilets....
