How to become a good programmer
"I am now a PhD student in computer science. Programming is my job, and I love it!"
How I did it: A lot of patience, a bunch of faith in my abilities, and talking to other, better programmers. To start with, I just followed the steps in a book about Python and the basics of programming, for no more than 1 hour a day. It was challenging, but because it was time-boxed, the motivation was constant, as I knew that the effort would be over after an hour.
