How to be happy
"Carpe diem"
How I did it: Expect the unexpected. Appreciate the things when they are right. I used determination to change my negative, sarcastic, cynical, sassy attitude to be a positive happy person. Fake it til you make it. You can do this by common courtsey or random acts of kindness:
- Hold a door for someone.
- Make eye contact with someone while walking.
- Smile at people.
- Complement people.
- Help someone out in any way.
- Offer food.
- Listen to people
- Give advice.
- MAKE SOMEONE'S DAY! Because they will make your day.
- Be selfless, it's okay to be selfish sometimes. ;)
Lessons & tips: Although you might have regrets such as you wish you would have talked to that person more often and you wonder you might have been best friends, move on. Go with the flow! Learn from mistakes to be a better person, so you can hold on the important things when they are right.
