How to finish my Thai Spirit House
"My shimmery blue and silver Thai Spirit House sits atop the wooden alter in the sunlight."
How I did it: Last summer I started my journey to build a Thai Spirit House as part of an arts workshop. It took lots of thinking and visualizing to finally finish my spirit house. My favorite part is when I look in the door of the house and see an eye staring back at me. Look at the center of the photo closely...see the eye???
Lessons & tips: I learned to take time to live with my spirit house while I was working on it. I did not rush. I studied it a lot.
Resources: small cardboard "house," glitter paint, facets, junk jewelry, collage materials, ephemera papers, rhinestones, faux pearls, a fortune cookie fortune I had saved, twigs I picked up in Wisconsin, craft glue
