How to have a totally different life by this time next year
How I did it: Baby steps
Lifestyle change
I slowly changed my habits towards healthier lifestyle, stopped eating junk food and got much energy out of good eating, bought a bright light therapy lamp, reduced responsibilities as much as I could.
Social change
I wanted to meet new people, so I stepped out of the circles I'm usually in and visited as a volunteer worker many events. I made a bunch of new friends, got amazing experiences and finally made a really hard decision of stopping talking completely with my friend of 10 years, because I felt he was merely hurting me.
Emotional change
I learned to love again (this one takes time, for sure), I got really exited over my major in Uni and my studies went forward. I feel like I have finally learned who I am and -at least a little bit- love myself.
Lessons & tips:
- Don't expect things to change unless you do something about them.
- Actively change your life, go to new places, meet new people, take more time to yourself
- Happiness comes when you least expect
Happy changing, it is hard but it really is worth all the trouble in the end.
