How to finish my AIC designation
"Educational and hopefully beneficial"
How I did it: I took a 4 course series classes on liability claims handling and property loss adjusting over the past year. At the conclusion of each course, I took a multiple choice test in which I needed a 70 in order to pass. Once I completed my last test, I was awarded my AIC designation.
Lessons & tips:
- Don't wait until the last night or two to study. I did this a few times, and it was extremely painful.
- If you have time, take the practice tests and use the study guides.
- Don't stress out too bad. The questions are pretty straightforward considering the amount of material you have to read.
