How I did it: I wanted a flash based website as building html no longer felt like a challenge and because i have taken up photography i figured it was a good medium for displaying my work so far. I used an online builder (www.wix.com) for the basic development and it was very easy and good for getting used to building functional intuitive flash websites without getting too bogged down in code. I now have to maintain my website but i think ive laid down a good organising architecture to minimise the work in that.

Lessons & tips: think about structure before you begin to build. start with tools to help, you cant learn html or any code overnight so start with a builder that will allow you to take over the complicated bits gradually. and check online for resources and research research research.
