How I did it: I invited a bunch of people, something like 150 and kept spreading the word about it. However, in the end the reason I got over the 30 mark was from the musicians I invited over to play and the guests that they brought. I was a little bummed that a small percentage showed up, but the party was still rocking.
Lessons & tips: Next time I won't throw a party without having a female co-host to keep the gender ratio more in balance.
