How to forgive myself
How I did it: I finally realized that being perfect is not the goal; survival is. I used to spend a lot of time making promises to myself that I would later break and feel guilty about. Now I realize that it is only human to break these kinds of commitments. Sometimes I make too many commitments, and it becomes impossible to keep them all. A more realistic, balanced approach is in order. I don't quite have it figured out yet, but I think I'm making progress.
