How I did it: I didn't climb real rocks, I just went to a rock gym, but it was fun and worth doing.  I went with my brother, and he had been there before.  I think its the kind of thing you have to go to a lot to really benefit from.  If I had one near me, I might go regularly, but there aren't any very close.
