"Writing someone a letter instead of an email is so much more intimate and sincere."
How I did it: I have a beautiful soul for a friend whose birthday I will be celebrating this Friday. I was pawing through my "card" box to try and find her the perfect card to write her. Instead I found a plethora of blank cards with beautiful drawings and paintings of women. I ended up finding the perfect one for her and wrote a really nice little note. I even decorated it with some stickers! I was hooked! I wrote 3 more letters to friends that I work with for no reason what so ever other than to say I love you and I am glad you are in my life. It felt fantastic to write the letters. Surprisingly enough it was very zen and theraputic writing the letters, thinking about the person and their wonderful soul, and even placing the stickers all made me calm and thoughtful. I would recommend writing more and more letters to all. We are driven in an email world so to me a hand written note is something special. Try it and see how the receiver AND you feel. I think writing letters is good for the soul.
Lessons & tips: Write a letter today.....not tomorrow.
Resources: Find some lovely cards or stationary. Colored pens and stickers help too!
