"Fattening but delicious and well worth it!"
How I did it: It happens that I indirectly fell into this goal by jokingly requesting that a girl make me a cake for my birthday. Not expecting anything I forgot about the request and carried on with my life. Three days later she tells me she has a cake for me and wants to know when I can come pick it up. Monday afternoon was the soonest I could get it so I started counting time towards this goal that night.
Now, for those of you who don't know, tennis is a very demanding sport both mentally and physically. With my schedule I play about 2 hours of tennis a day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday which means I am burning massive amounts of calories. Because of my abnormally high calorie usage, I can afford to do things like have a dinner consisting only of cake.
Every night after tennis I would come home, eat whatever food I could find in the fridge and then return to the cake later, often eating 36 cubic inches of the stuff around 11:30pm or midnight. At this point in time I assume those of you reading are wondering how I could possibly sleep with all that sugar in my system and food in my stomach. My answer to that is because I am a very active teen that needs every second of sleep I can get and am usually asleep within a few minutes of closing my eyes. Things like that come easy to
Lessons & tips:
- Try someone to make the cake for you. Everything tastes better when someone else cooks it.
- Make sure you like the kind of cake you are attempting this with. Keep in mind it will be all you are eating for a week.
- Hide the cake from your parents, siblings, spouse, pets. It is more than likely that they would love to "help" you with your goal.
- Maintain an otherwise healthy diet and exercise regularly. This is good advice for any situation, but here especially.
