How to parasail
How I did it: We saw people parasailing and found a couple places right on the beach near us that you could parasail with. We asked for information and found a company that did a bench and one that did a harnass. My friend Sarah and I wanted the bench while our friend Megs wanted the harnass. We even managed to talk the price down a bit because the harnass was cheaper. So we got the bench for the harnass price. We took a waverunner to a boat where we then sat on the pretty comfrotable seat. When the parachute was unfurled and the boat sped up, we were slowly released into the air, up to about 300-350ft. since we didn't have to hold on to anything really, we were able to take a lot of great pics. When it was over, our bench was reeled back onto the boat.
Lessons & tips: In this bench, you had lifevests but were not strapped in, which scared our friend into using the harnass version from a different company. But we were perfectly safe and I wasn't scared at all once we were in the air. And we were comfortable. Don't be afraid!
