How to dye my hair brown

How I did it: well first of all, my cousin was going to dye it. so she died it a dark brown, but for some reason it didnt come out over my blonde hair :( instead it turned GINGER. so we had to rush to a salon and paid £28 to get it done in a salon. i love it but its darker than i planned!
