all the
expensive equipment in the world won’t make up for a lack of composition or a good eye! So glad you are enjoying it!!!
How I did it: A friend of mine was also interested in photography. Neither one of us had any equipment aside from our point and shoot cameras, so we were hesitant. But we both loved taking beautiful photos, so when she invited me to join a basic seminar workshop, I took the chance.
The class was small, and we were taught by someone who was a pro in our eyes, but he said he was a hobbyist much like ourselves. A very good one at that. Anyway, it was a very interesting and informative class. I was really happy to hear his feedback on my photos. He said I had the most basic camera, but I had the best photos in the bunch, more so than the ones who had really good equipment. That encouraged me to go on.
Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to ask. Experiment. Learn from your mistakes.
