How I did it: I end up organizing my own can food drive for our local food pantry.  We stand in the cold rain outside of Stop n Shop supermarket and just asked everyone we could that passed by. 

We had so much fun, my business partner invited some people I never met before but we all clicked and just enjoyed each other company.

Lessons & tips: You don't have to wait on someone else to volunteer for, if you have the drive, do it yourself, it's not hard at all.
