How to sew
How I did it: I practice the same projects several times before feeling comfortable. I must have overlocked 7 or 8 neckbanns for the t-shirts I was creating.
I love leather goods so I think before I act and sewing has definitely attributed to my increased process development skills, focus on the immediate and since I now teach where I learn - speaking clearly.
Lessons & tips: Be patient. Be willing to laugh at yourself. Take a practical approach and shut off your telephone and TV so you can focus on that one project.
Have a drink of wine, if you so choose. Get relaxed! It's not life or death - ITS SEWING.
