How to organize file cabinet

How I did it: I collected all the bills etc. that I'd been keeping in an organizer (but wasn't really organized lol), cleared out the stuff in the file cabinet; sorted through piles of stuff and shredded what we were not going to keep. Next I decided what to label each file folder and put up to date items into each folder. Now after I pay a bill, or receive an important document I have an organized place to place everything. The filing system is useful every day.
