How to become a paralegal
"It was miserable."
How I did it: I didnt do it. I give up. School is expensive, instructors treated me like crap (like I was stupid or naive). Coursework was delivered in a way that did not encourage rational thought or common sense. I understand the technicality of it, still, of those in my class, only 1 actually found a job and she found it on her own (despite the "career center") and she's a clerk. She makes copies. She is a certified paralegal that makes sure the partners of her firm have post it notes. Honestly...
Lessons & tips: Know that there are thousands of paralegals out there that are not "certified", yet still work as paralegals.
Resources: RMPA, internet, school.
