How I did it: I signed up for a four-week course at a local arts & crafts supply. There are four courses in all, but even after completing just the first course you can make some great-looking cakes.
I enjoyed it so much, I have continued taking classes.

I took cake decorating classes at Wilton’s sometime back and it was good. Now I have the all the equipment ready as cake kit in the kitchen. There was this site about cake decorating classes which had good references but she is not giving free info now. Are you taking the advanced courses as well?

i make cakes all the time (i have the same containter thing as you, isnt it great???) if you look at my profile pictures, you will see my cakes i’ve made. i havent gone to any classes yet, i just watch the cake shows and learn from them kinda. your cake looks really cute! i have used fondant but it was premade and tasted kinda nasty, i peeled it off my slice of cake.
