How I did it: It took me a year to finally, and for real, decide to attend to a bellydance - or better: middle eastern dance - course.
I tried to make it faster, but everytime I planned to start, there was something more important, more on-time to be. However, in the end I did not leave the idea! And right now I know why: I find it a lovely way to wake up more of female charm :).

Lessons & tips: I can suggest to make up your mind faster than me: if you're about to make this step, it's constantly on your mind - just do it!
I don't know why I was waiting so long :D.
But after doing it, I can only say it's totally worth of choosing!
In the begin, you don't need any special outfit. Try to feel the joy which is given in this kind of dance first. And when you feel it, invest more in it!

Resources: What can help before is, to check out the possibilities and market offers - I mean, if you want to attend to a dance classes in some dance school (this is the way I do it), it's better to check all the possibilities, make some interviews with girls who already dance, and then choose.
