How to learn a language
"Being able to understand someone who speaks a different language is a very enriching experience; you feel much more capable than before."
How I did it: This goal took me ages to complete to be honest up front. I started taking classes in high school but hardly learned a thing. After two classes in college though I feel it's safe to say that I could get by in another country. I'm not fluent but I'm proud to be able to have conversations in spanish that will help me better understand those around me.
Lessons & tips: tip - find someone who will do it with you. It gives you motivation and you can practice with each other in everyday conversations.
Resources: professors, courses, friends.
