How to have an operation or buy a knee brace

How I did it: I checked out the knee brace it wasn't what I needed as my leg went crocked from arthritis.
I had the operation in November, I am still in recovery at this time, I am not on medication.
The stress of this decision, then having the operation, the pain, the medication was enormous.
I still am dealing with some pain, I need a walker to walk for more than 10 mins. I am also dealing with anxiety, I think this is from going off pain medication, I was on some form of pain medication for over 1 year. It has been and at times still is difficult.
I work hard on taking a positive outlook, I know with time this too will pass.
