How I did it: I used the Couch to 5 k running program found at c25k.com
I had to repeat week 4 because I was still huffing and puffing by the last day of it. There are lots of podcasts that have verbal cues for when to change speeds. I really enjoyed learning to run. It helped me lose weight, improve my cardio, and improve my overall health.
Lessons & tips: Take it slow, dont feel discouraged if you have to repeat some weeks
