How to find the cheaper room to move in March
How I did it: -Made the list of priority(room size, distance, etc)
-Searched online everyday for more than 5months. Checked what options are available.
-Made visits to many property agents.
-Asked people around about the room share.
-Walked around the current house to see the vacancy around the house.
-Google mapped and decided which area I want to live.
-Told myself so many times that I need to compromise.
-Money calc- see not monthly but yearly+moving cost.
-Search, search, and more search.
Lessons & tips: Searched internet which was total waste of time. The agents only
displays the rooms to attract customer and when you make it to their
place, it's gone. It's not because the other people had it, some place
just hold the place for ad purpose and to say 'we are not lying.' All sales
says just the same(well, it's tokyo-especially this line.., live or leave, etc, a junk.) It really frustrated me the only thing they do is
searching the common database by all the agents -which I can do on my own,
only if it's shared public. So 1/5 of time I was only checking the websites by agents, which was a complete waste of time. Go and talk to agents is the fastest way.
If the sales are not so enthusiastic about searching it, switch it. Don't listen to the sales talk about compromises(if it's more than 1 thing in your list). Remember they are not the brightest in the box of crayons.
Stick to the priorities-making the list helps.
Don't jump at it. Make some time for yourself to cool down before making the decisions, excuse to go to a coffee shop or to a bathroom if needed.
Find a reliable agent or sales personnel.
