How I did it: I was walking through town one day with no intention of getting anything done. Walked past a tattoo parlour and decided to go in. Spoke to the owner for about an hour about life in general and then I said "ok, I think I'll get my nape pierced today". He said "righto, come on through then" and that was it. Don't think about, just do it. If you don't like it, take it out and it'll be gone forever.
