How I did it: I can't say enough about how great this program has been for me.  I sound like a commercial advertisement, but I swear I am not getting paid haha!

My husband had Skype for a while and talked about how neat it was, but I didn't really know what it was all about until he deployed.  He insisted I get it; I thought it might be an annoying process or require money but lo and behold it is downloadable for free. 

Skype to skype text messages, voice calls, AND video calls are free.

I convinced my brother in Nebraska to get Skype too and have been talking to him almost every day since he got it. 

It is amazing that my husband can call me from so far away via his computer and I answer with my computer.  Instead of a 15-minute telephone call every few weeks I can talk to him on the computer every 2 or 3 days sometimes for several hours at a time.  It is almost like having him home again in the living room with me.

Almost.

Aw, now I made myself a little sad.
