How to visit my aunt in NM, probably drive-- apparently it is an easy shoot all I10 all the way

How I did it: I drove by myself, first to California to visit my friend Natalie, and then on the way back to Texas I stopped in New Mexico to stay with my aunt for a few days :) I'm too lame to really sum up how amazingly cool the entire trip was, but it was I tell you. Pictures to come in various places, including FB and my wall.
I rented a car, loaded it up, printed out some google directions, and drove drove drove. In two weeks and three days I put just over 5000 miles on the rental car. Thank you for unlimited mileage....
Lessons & tips: DON'T LET ANYONE HOLD YOU BACK!! If I had listened to certain people around me I'd have never left the house for anything except my previous job that sucked all the joy and happiness out of me that it took a huge road trip to recover and I wouldn't have had an incredibly amazing experience seeing so many places and things I'd never seen or experienced before. It's your life, not theirs, so do the positive things you want to do!
Of course, plan accordingly, make sure emergency roadside assistance numbers are there, also try to get a phone car charger-- I didn't have one because my phone is weird and that was pretty inconvenient for keeping my phone charged on the road.
