How to make tablet that my granny would be proud of

How I did it: Find a good recipe from someone you know makes good tablet and just keep making it till you get it right... it's the only way to get to know when the sugar is melted etc.
Lessons & tips: Make sure the sugar is completely melted before you bring it to the boil or else it will crystalise too much and be more crunchy than smooth.
Also, use buttered ice cube trays as moulds to save cutting once it's set.
