How to plan something special for my 40th birthday by aspire345

"I realized it was too much pressure to plan something for one day."

How I did it: I stressed and stressed until I realized its not about that one day but how I am living my whole life.  (It is a little annoying to be asked to write more about this.  I'd rather just write what I think...long or short and be done with it. Thank you very much, 43 things!)

I hate planning stuff for my birthday, and I think you’re right to focus on your life (and say the entire upcoming year) instead of just one day… on the other hand we’re advised to take things one day at a time, but if there’s an overwhelming amount of stress involved in it obviously that’s not working too well..
