How to complete 5 things on this list by February 14, 2010
How I did it: I picked a deadline that gave me enough time to work on things, but that wasn't so far out that I would procrastinate. If I accomplished something that I had been working on my months, I added it as a goal, and then determined it as done. I was open to the postings of other members so that if something seemed possible and it was something I really wanted to do, I added it, did it, and counted it as done. I tried to complete a couple of things that had been on my list for months, but external factors (e.g., bad weather) thwarted my efforts. I accepted this, didn't get upset, did what I could, and moved on.
Lessons & tips: Set a reasonable deadline and a reasonable number of things to do. If I completed something that was not on my list of goals, but had been hanging over my head for a while, I added it and then counted it as done. Be open to new goals that may provide opportunity to accomplish something and add to the done list.
