How to shop at local St Andrews food stores instead of Tesco
"Difficult at first, but worth it for the tastiness."
How I did it: I chose to shop at local food stores, including bakers, butchers, cheesemongers, fishmongers, greengrocers, and area farms, instead of shopping at Tesco.
Lessons & tips: Budget out a food allowance and try to stick to it. Supermarkets can be cheaper, but the quality of food you get from artisanal and local stores is better. Research local veg box schemes and delivery services in your area. I was amazed by the amount of local food sources I could chose from.
