How I did it: Asked the campus health center when the next blood drive was happening here, and added it to my calendar. Made an appointment even though it's not required because I felt that would make me stick with it. Then, I just took some deep breaths to get past any butterflies, and just did it!

Make sure you have photo ID with you, and that you are in good health all around. I almost didn't get to give because my temp was slightly elevated, but she checked it again after 5 min, and it was within the proper parameters.

Lessons & tips: See above! :) I'd brought a book to read while I waited, and I'd recommend that. Make sure you've eaten a good breakfast and had plenty of fluids to drink (but not so much that you have to pee constantly!)
