How to get PADI certified

"Learning how to breath under water is simply awesome!"
How I did it: I accomplished this in three steps:
1) I took Scuba diving lessons in New Zealand from PADI.
2) I bought myself some good Scuba gear.
3) I started diving.
Learning how to dive takes a little time, money and effort, but it really is not that expensive and it is worth it. With just a few hundred dollars and a few weekends, you will be able to experience things that were completely foreign to you before. Since getting certified I have really enjoyed diving. I hope to get to the Great Barrier Reef here soon.
Lessons & tips: Go to a reputable school. Do your homework and you'll be fine. Then keep practicing and enjoy your new skill. There is a lot to explore under the water.
