How I did it: Found a tattoo parlor, told them what I wanted, got it drawn up, done.

I have 4 tattoos and I'm gonna get a 5th this fall. It usually takes me several months to think of an idea and mull over it to make sure it's something I really want before I execute it.

Lessons & tips: Research the tattoo parlor.  Make sure it's safe and reputable.

Low price doesn't always mean good quality. By all means, try and get a good deal but don't sacrifice your health or integrity to get it.

Don't let your friends influence you. This is something that's going to be on YOUR body for the rest of YOUR life. Make it something you can deal with.
