How to cook more often
"took a bit to get back into the groove but it's working at least 2 days out of the week."
How I did it: it started out with a trip to the doctors office, a conscientious effort to be less wasteful, and our dwindling economy. I made a month meal planner sent it out to family members with an RSVP so i know how much food to make, made a list of what i needed then went out for that weeks list of groceries.
Lessons & tips: making dinners provided me with some quality time with family (and friends), I stopped wondering where $600 out of my check was going. The whole family eats healthier. My health is improving.
- i suggest making a log for one week on how much money you actually waste going out to eat rather than having a good home cooked meal. it's an eye opener.
- only go to bulk item stores if you need to. i go thinking i would be saving money and i just ending up wasting money and unused product.
- make a list and stick to it!!! it'll save you from extra spending.
