How to be in the newspaper for something cool

How I did it: I was asked at a banquet in Hangzhou China to be the bride in a mock wedding. They said all I had to do was wear a red dress...nope they put me in a veil and started guiding me around a room speaking only Chinese. Not cool to not be able to see and have directions in a language you don't understand. Then they guided me into a pail and made me sit, again all in Chinese. Then they married me off to a Chinese groom I'd never met before and paraded me around the room with him. They tried to get me to jump on his back but on account of having never met him before, I refused to wrap my legs around him. So a woman ran around the room with us holding up my backside. And...that pic made the front page the next day.

Wow, what a way to make it into the newspaper! Chinese weddings sound crazy. It sounds like you had fun, though, in spite of the frustrations involved. (: Good job!
