How to lose 15 pounds
How I did it: I started working out not because of my appearance, but because I had a health scare. I'm not proud to say that I had become complacent with my appearance - I resigned myself to the fact that I was a mom, and maybe there was no getting back to my previous body. But with a diabetes scare to give me a big push forward, and a ton of support from my husband, I got out there and started working out and eating better. I now fit into most of my old pre-baby clothes, and I still have a few pounds to go before I'm pre-pregnancy weight, but I'm so proud of myself for how far along I've come. It's been tough, finding the time to work out and eat well, but it's paid off!
Lessons & tips: Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day. Never starve yourself. Drink lots of water - it helps with your metabolism, and it helps your muscles out a ton when you stay hydrated during your workout. If you are a mom, don't tell yourself that you can never get your old figure back... you CAN!
