How to add a new recipe to this week's menu
"I had fun with it....and picked something I'd never make for myself, but would have ordered in a restaurant."
How I did it: I went looking on the net for something that was delicious, maybe a little different, AND healthy. I found curried chicken banana yam soup. I made it and it was awesome. The recipe comes from a book by Dave Grotto called, '101 Optimal Foods." The book was reviewed on the fit bottom girls website and that is where I got the recipe. I will by the book based on this recipe.
Lessons & tips: I tweaked the recipe a bit. I like food really hot so I added more cayenne and curry. The 4oz of cilantro seemed way too much so I only used 1.5 oz.
