that is really amazing! tell us more
How I did it: I've been having lucid dreams for as long as I can remember. It's always just sort of come naturally to me.
Many nights, I'll be dreaming a dream in which I'm watching myself act out the dream, but I (as my sleeping self) am not an actual physical "thing" and "I" am watching I (as my dreaming self). Then, I can say to myself, "you are dreaming". This voice seems to come from a small part of my brain that's awake. Then, I can have conversations with my dream self. She usually just wants to play, but sometimes, she will sit on the grass, concrete, or whatever she can and have a discussion with me.
Lucid dreams are incredible because they allow you to purposely do anything in the world you can possible imagine. I've told people that I love them, I've seen dead friends and famous people, I've been told secrets and futures. I've climbed mountaines effortlessly, swam in oceans, sat on a kite.
I don't know why I have lucid dreams though. They've happened for as long as I can remember, almost every night that I dream.
Maybe it has something to do with me being an insomniac?

I related to the part you’ve said about watching yourself acting out in the dream, because it happens to me, but yet I just can’t seem to know I’m dreaming and tell myself so. Must observe more.
Your comment is really interesting, talking to your dream self must be amazing. Seems like having superpowers.
