How I did it: I just stopped eating meat. Again. Cold turkey (no pun intended)! As a result, I lost a ton of weight that I had gained as a result of stress, inactivity, poor eating practices, and eating meat. I also just FEEL better, and I know that this is a common assertion amongst vegetarians, but I feel lighter and fuller without feeling sluggish when I eat. It also has forced me to eat more vegetables and lean proteins (nuts, eggs, etc.) so I not only LOOK healthier, I FEEL healthier too!
Lessons & tips: When I first became vegetarian, I did so with one of my best friends. It's GREAT to have that support when you're just starting out. I would highly recommend it.
