How I did it: When a man walks by you in Thailand and thrusts a monkey at you, take
it. Don’t think about what’ll happen if it bites you, or what kinds of
diseases it may be carrying. Don’t think about how the man who gave the
monkey to you will probably ask you for some money for the privilege of
holding his pet. Smile, have your friend take a picture, and then
graciously thank the gentleman as you hand back the monkey and walk
away.
