How I did it: I decided one day that I was going to visit my friend out at school. I knew I worked a lot over the summer and had plenty of money to book a ticket. I went online to travelocity and booked a flight. I adjusted the days I was leaving and the airports and got my ticket for a little over $200. I didn't have to pay for a hotel room since I was staying in my friend's dorm. Food costs were a minimum.
