How to write a crazy awesome song

How I did it: Not too proud, but the results were great. Took a couple uppers, and hit some herb. I was flyin so high I started writing the best song ever. It turned out to be a really great song and kicked off my dedication to making a CD of that style of music.
Lessons & tips: I was organizing and coloring every track in my mix, which helped. Mostly though I was listening, listening, listening to all sorts of great music. All the time listening and analyzing what I like and dislike about songs. The album is the best teacher you can have.
