How to finish my degree
How I did it: I worked hard and studied hard. I had to work 22 hours a week to support myself. As I was studying a Bachelor of Nursing, you only have 10 weeks holiday per year compared to the average British student. When on clinical placement I would have to work 37.5 hours Mon-Fri and 22 hours Sat-Sun.
I missed barely any lectures and tutorials. Most of the time I was exhausted but time when quickly, so it didn't feel so prolonged.
Lessons & tips: Study hard - because I worked so much whilst completing my degree, there wasn't as much study tme as I would have liked.
Be organised - I'm a super organised person, I had everything I needed for my dissertation set out into chapters ready and I added references to my reference list as I put them into my work so I wouldn't miss any out.
Resources: The library. Neil's toolbox is useful for helping you to reference different media.
The University account I had allowed me to log into a lot of different journals. I hardly use textbooks as I prefer journals.
